What exactly can I expect from the IT Security and Cloud Professional Engineer Program?
The IT Security and Cloud Engineer program prepares you for high demand careers in security and cloud computing. You will have the opportunity to learn the latest technologies in a structured, hands-on learning environment giving you the knowledge and skills to prepare for a career in IT. The courses are led by experienced faculty, and the labs and lectures are based on real world scenarios. In addition to teaching deep technical skills, FVI will provide the training employers are looking for in project management and collaboration. IT and business needs are merging rapidly and the core soft skills of teamwork, presentation skills, and project management are increasing in demand.
As part of the IT Security and Cloud Professional Engineer Program, you will learn the following:
• How to handle day-to-day management of the server operating system, file structure, directory services, and software distribution and updates.
• Monitor servers; provide tier-2 troubleshooting support; build and configure servers; implement auditing policy; perform scheduled vulnerability-assessment scans; and monitor logs for firewalls and intrusion-detection systems.
• Manage, support, and troubleshoot information systems in a wide range of computing environments with Microsoft Windows Server and the integrated family of server products.
• The concepts, commands, and practice required to configure Cisco switches and routers in multi-protocol Internet works as well as Cloud technology.
